Manor has grown fast on the east side of Austin, and most of its housing has gone up recently. That makes replacement work the wrong starting assumption here — the equipment is young. What it is not always is correctly sized or properly installed.
In fast-built subdivisions the pattern is consistent: builder-grade equipment specified to a price rather than to a Central Texas August, duct runs installed quickly and never balanced, undersized returns, and bedrooms at the end of a run sitting several degrees warm all summer. This side of the county is flat and open with very little mature shade, so systems carry more load than the same equipment would under tree cover closer in.
None of that needs new equipment. It needs airflow measured, ducts balanced, and a straight answer about what remains under manufacturer warranty. Every Manor visit includes a full system evaluation with photos and video of what we found — and when the honest answer is that your system is fine, that is what you will hear.
